I’m quite neutral about this famed day of love. Probably because I believe that you can celebrate love everyday; we need not wait for February 14! Still, it’s heartwarming to see all the gestures of love from friends, family, and even in social media.

This might seem like a cheesy post, but I’m still on a high from yesterday’s sweet surprise so I’ve decided to share it with you all.

You see, I told Pocholo not to get me flowers or chocolates for Valentine’s. Instead, I said to save the money for the shopping we’d be doing in our next out-of-the-country trip. So, naturally I thought that was clear and really was fine with just a simple greeting followed by a hug and kiss as I made my way out to head to work.

But at the end of the day, I came home to this.

Who wouldn’t feel like the luckiest girl on earth with a gesture like this?

Oh, husband, you are quite amazing. 😉
